Things that Inspire Me: Michelle Harper

On my daily OCD perusal of about a dozen design blogs, I keep happening upon this very interesting-looking, striking female and she inspires me to not wear blush and to dye my hair darker and to keep dressing however I see fit.....and finally, FINALLY of seeing her week after week in random publications, I learned that her name is Michelle Harper. I would rattle on, but someone else did it much better.

LOVE: Hot, Sexy, Tattooed Sexy Sex

Maybe it's because I just finished reading "Dirt," The Motley Crue Autobiography. Maybe it's because the new season of "Sons of Anarchy" recently aired. Any way you shake it- -I will probably always have a penchant for the bad boys. Who doesn't? Even if you don't want to live in a particular city, it doesn't mean you don't want to visit from time to time.

Well, construction and updates at the new house has finally died down a bit, so I'm less consumed with images of Home Decor- -but I'm still very stuck in the habit of checking Apartment Therapy and Design Sponge every day. Here are some faves from the last few months. Enjoy!

Check out the re-purposed TV stand. I kind of die for this kind of thing, although I guess I'm "DIY-nearsighted" because I never seen value when I see old ugly wood furniture.

I am seriously on the hunt for a similar hutch for my own shoes. It's going to happen.
